General Description
DMX-10 is, all-in-one ready to use PCIEx to I2C/SPI/GPIO Interface adapter based on system with FPGA and 1x PCIEx PHY. DMX-10 converts PCIEx transactions into the I2C, SPI master or slave transactions and GPIO control functions. DMX-10 turns your PC running Windows, DOS, Linux, MacOS or any embedded OS with PCI support into comprehensive general purpose bus master or slave adapter.

    • 2000 Mbit/s maximal supported I2C bus speed.
    • 400kBit/s fast mode.

    • Configurable I2C bus master clock speed in range of 400Kbps to 1Kbps.

  • Zero latency and no delay in back to back transactions.
    PCIEx transactions at 2.5Gbps can be fully neglected (compared to relatively slow I2C and SPI bus frequencies) in latency and back to back bandwith calculations.

  • I2C bus protocol Multi Master arbitration support.
  • I2C Bus Clock Synchronization (Clock Stretching) support.
    To communicate with relatively slow I2C slave devices,  DMX-10 I2C bus master supports clock stretching.

  • Field upgradable.
    DMX-10 FPGA can be uploaded with new image without removing DMX-10 board from your PC. This feature allows Dimax to make fast DMX-10 customization.

Warranty
The DMX-10 units are unconditionally guaranteed by Dimax. If DMX-10 has not performed to your satisfaction, you can simply return the undamaged unit within 60 days period with the original sales receipt to the distributor from whom the unit was purchased and your money will be promptly refunded. Refund do not include shipment costs. You can also request the exchange of your broken (not properly working unit) with new one. This warranty applies only during normal use and care and is absolutely void if the product is misused, neglected, damaged, altered, or repaired by someone other than Dimax.
